Not sure what the rubbers are like but I have a pare of leather CSA approved boots and they work rather well except the sole is extremely slippery on ice. Not clue why but has to do with the rubber me thinks.

These were sold in the Mark's here for about a month, but then were pulled off the shelves because the rubber around the steel toe and back of the heel cracks after a couple weeks of use. You're better off buying the green dunlop's or baffin's.
