TSCC: Tripod for Camera $1.96 Reg $14.99
Found this Tripod at TSCC for $1.99. Not many left in the stores, but some still available in selective stores. How good is this tripod? Anyone bought this from TSCC or using one?

It looks top-heavy, which would put your valuable camera at risk.
If you must go for a cheapie the one at Dollarama is probably better, and cheaper!

LMFAO!!! Amazing!
My good friend had one of these overseas when were together for holidays. It was the niftiest thing. He started ejecting the bottom legs like a switchblade very quickly. Always impressed me. It does appear top-heavy fwiw though.
Id DEFINATEly PICK one up for a couple bucks lol._______________**~_Classics ForSale BNIB: Nokia n86, Surge QWERTY, LG Chic (Bell), W760a, Galaxy Spica_~**Thx RFD: i7 920 @ 2.67GHz 9Gb DDR3

I have this one and it's stable enough for me (although I don't have a lot to compare it to) - probably how the feet are designed. I've used it with both a various camera's, the largest being a Canon S2IS.
Problems I have with it are:
- pretty easy for feet to get "lost" inside the barrel, so you have to fish them out
- the ball-lock lever has very little play to go from tight to loose, so fine tuning the camera angle is tough.

OOS in Vancouver. Pretty neat this one. I have a similar one, and it helped a lot when there's no one around to help you take a picture on vacation.
