TSCC: V-Moda Vibe In-Earphones $34.99

If anyone is wondering, they are the old model with the straight connector. Sound is pretty good, heavy bass and light mids as all the reviews state. I find them different, but at least as good as the Sennheiser CX 300's I've been using for the last couple of years (and they're not broken in yet).

I think I got the last pair in Ottawa this morning (Carling). There are 4 left in Gatineau if anyone is still looking. The clerk tried to tell me that there was only a 3mth manf. warranty, after I got them open I noticed the warranty clearly states they are covered for a full year.

They might only be covered through the store for the three months, but it would have been worth it to get the extended warranty. Headphones break, no matter how you treat them or how much you spend on them. So free replacements on any type of damage would have been worth the 10 bucks or whatever it was.

Great deal on these.. but just too bad it's not the DUO version with the mic.

The Vibes are essentially "fun" headphones, geared towards those that accessorize their iPod. It's a good upgrade on the basic headphones, and for that price, your ears will thank you. It doesn't offer the sound quality you'd expect for the MSRP's price of $100, but for ~$30, it's not half bad. A true audiophile would not be worried about the appearance of their headphones, nor would they be caught using iPods.

I've heard good things about the ER6i's wiring; thin does not mean fray.

Personally, I'd rather have quality over "fun" in my headphones as long as they don't look like something an "alien" would wear.

i have these headphones from first batch that had the "bad" connector, with a simple mod i've been using them till now and haven't had a problem with them...btw does anyone know where i can get a pair of the duos? the apple store in eatons is renovating and doesn't seem to carry these in the smaller shop

I'm pretty sure the places in the system that actually says there is stock left, they're inaccurate. Deal is dead.

It's updated daily, but if they were stolen or being sent back to the vendor they would still show in the system, until the store fixed the stock. You can just go in and get the associate to call around and bring one in.

A friend was about to buy Shure's but then I showed him these earbuds and apparently he did research already and when he saw it at this price. We went to four TSCC. Just to get it.

These look nearly the same and sound almost identical (I have compared them). However, you never know with uxcell, they change product quality all the time (different batches).
