TTC Spot at Castle Frank? Safe area? Parliament bus?
Hi all (meant TTC Stop!),
Being in Markham I do not need to take the TTC that much to get downtown. But in a couple of weeks I will be working in the Distillery District and I was wondering if the castle frank subway stop and then taking the parliament bus south to there is considered safe? I will be doing this during regular business hours (8am -5pm) and was just curious about all of your experiences in this area...
thanks

unemployed sector of Toronto, lol jk
why are people getting pussified about downtown Toronto? a lot of bad things (crimes) happen for a reason, so if u are not a trouble maker OR an easy target, u have nothing to worry about.

The Castle Frank station is usually empty.
How about taking the 504 from Broadview Station? King Street isn't that far from the Distillery.

I work on Queen, east of Parliament and I have had some incidents in the last ten years, but no robberies or assaults.
I worked midnight shift, afternoon shift and day shift.
I've stood at the bus stop at midnight and was asked for smokes a couple of times, but that's about it.
I think only people that 'live the lifestyle' get involved with the drugs and crime in the area.
There are a lot of drunks, druggies, homeless and 'gangbangers', but they all just 'do their thing'.

the 504 streetcar is like a zoo....maybe not now because it's summer for George Brown students...but I often see people line up at stops and have to wait for few cars to pass by to find one that they can squeeze on!

Afternoon rush has tons of streetcars, but they are still usually crowded.

if you coming from the east end - you might want to consider bus 72A at Pape stations.
