Hi
I will be going to tucker's marketplace for a free birthday meal with my twin brother.
I called them yesterday and they said you don't need to having a paying adult accompany you and just show your ID to your waiter. We don't plan on ordering any drinks so the bill will be $0. When we are done eating should i ask for a bill (although we will owe nothing) or just leave tip on the table and leave?
thanks

I think you need a paying adult to accompany you to qualify for the free birthday meal.

This is hilarious...
Yesterday on the way home I'm listening to the stafford show and someone writes in this story about tuckers marketplace.
A friend from school who he hasn't talked to in years calls him up and wants to reconnect over lunch, both agree to meet at tuckers marketplace. So they meet for lunch and finds out his his friend is an executive making around 200k a year.
The bill comes and his exec friend pulls out his drivers license and states that it's his birthday and the meal is free because he brought a paying friend.
The exec then leaves the bill and tip to his friend.
awesome_______________

my birthday was actually today. We just came back from the burlington location. Both got our meals for free (didn't order a drink). Left $3.50 tip. So you don't need any paying guests to accompany you.
Will go to heartland location tonight for dinner.LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked TinyTank for this post.

I take it they ask for your driver's license to confirm the bday?

Darn, you're off by a day. Of course, there is still Tony Roma's or Boston Pizza that send you the coupon good for the week before and the week after your birthday.
There is nothing wrong with getting a freebie on your birthday. Everyone wants a birthday gift. If restaurants offer it, why not? Check out the freebie forum for more birthday freebies.LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked Cheap Cat for this post.

Yes they do. The last time I was there was on a weeknight for my husband's b-day. There was us and 2 other tables in our area who had their driver's licenses out for the freebie.LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked sillysimms for this post.
