I think I'll give the Tungsten ring a shot then 
I'm going to head to a couple malls next weekend and take a look to see what my options are in terms of style. If I find one I really like, I may just buy it right then and there.
I've also been looking at places online. TitaniumKay has a few tungsten rings that have caught my eye. I may just order from them.

I've been told if you wear a tungsten band and injure your finger and it swells, that they can't remove the band, and must remove the finger. I've heard this from a few people (a friend, and a sales person at a jewelry store). I was interested in getting one until I heard that.
Can anyone confirm or refute that comment? I love the look of them, but don't want to chance that.

I was worried about that too, but this youtube video put my mind to ease, along with other research I've done that confirms that this is how hospitals remove tungsten rings in the event of emergency.
