I have one and it works well for my needs which are pretty basic - memos, to do lists....
I have heard about high pitch whines from it from other users, but luckily mine doesn't do that.
I've never had a Windows based PDA so I can't really make any comparisons._______________

Well, OP hasn't left any feedback, but I have owned a Tungsten E, a Tungsten C and I now have a Tungsten T|X.
I got the Tungsten E because I wanted an agenda / contacts list that I could backup somewhere in case lost it and that would be pocket sized. Before I was using larger sized Filofax paper agendas. I then got the C and the T|X because I wanted wifi compatibility to check my EMail, surf basic web pages, read e-Books and listen to music on the go without carrying a laptop. The keyboard on the C is great, it's a shame the wifi module on that model sucks so much (and it's discontinued).
The E2 doesn't have wifi, but does have bluetooth iirc. There is a wifi expansion available though I think. I looked at the E2 a while ago and decided NOT to get it for that reason.
I have seen a few Windows devices and I must say I wasn't specially impressed. They do the same job as the Palm models - not better, not worse. Even the Word / Excel /Powerpoint compatibility is a non argument as my T|X came bundled with Documents To Go.Last edited by toujours; Feb 9th, 2007 at 08:19 AM.

Ugh...I miss my T|X and it's WiFi capability. It's a shame that I lost it.
Anyhow, the E2 that I have as a replacement seems much more responsive than my T|X which is probably due to the smaller screen resulting in lesser processing overhead._______________
