How do those 2 relate? You really think no one here has cars or SUVs that cost way more than a model 3????

You’d be surprised, I was shocked how many RFD’ers have them (myself included).

If I was to stereotype, I’d wager the common fabric for RFDers is people who focus on maximizing their wealth by value rather than people who were born into wealth and don’t care or don’t know how to get more value for their $, so in RFD you’d get both rich and poor cheapskates ;)

But that’s just speculation

I think its the exact opposite. The more money you have, the smarter you are with your money and the more frugal you are. Doesn't mean you're poor but you make every dollar count.

A lot of people on RFD are quite well off. They just spend their money wisely and like to get good deals (or not so wisely when a hot deal comes along. Buy first think later amirite?)

Realtalk, are these mats good? I just got a new S60 and want to get mats. Not sure which kind and costco doesnt have mats for the S60

I have been using these mats for about a year now. They survived last winter no problem. The best thing about them is the superior coverage they provide. A more subjective aspect is how they look. I’m ok with it but some may not like the look. I bought at full price and would buy again.

One thing to be aware of with these is they aren't quite as durable as rubber. I had mine in all last winter and took them out for the summer. I noticed a few chunks out of the top layer that wouldn't happen with rubber. I do a lot of mileage and have the kids in and out so they get lots of use but still, I'll probably look for something tougher when I replace.

Sales rep told me theres a 30 day return policy AND a lifetime warranty. May be worth exercising the warranty for replacement? Let us know how it goes!
