TV Cards for Windows Media Center

How do TV Capture Card differ from each other? Why is there such a wide price range? Do any of them work with digital cable?

What would you reccomend?

I bought a Hauppauge MCE 500 a month later .I still can`t get it to work .Not just properly .Just to work !

I use an ATI Theater 550pro, paid $99 ( + tax) for it, works like a charm with MCE.

Make sure you have a decoder installed.. I use nVidia PureVideo, and it works great.

I have the same setup, 550pro w/ purevideo decoder in mce and it works great as well...quite easy to setup and get working.
