TV Qs: Samsung DLP vs. SONY Rear Projection LCD
I'm starting to get serious about getting a new TV.
I have my eye on a 50" Samsung DLP and a SONY rear projection LCD.
Anyone know much about the 2 or of any websites that may help?
I don't mind hearing anyone's opinions but I would like them substanciated with some solid information.

I would first decide between DLP vs LCD, then start narrowing the brands/models. While they're both rear projection, the 2 have different characteristics. Do a google search of the differences if you haven't done so already.

SXRD is the best TV on the market right now in my mind.
If you are only talking about a Sony Grand Wega, go with the Samsung instead. My uncle has one and it is a fantastic TV.
