Sony has just announced new TVs at CES
- A8F OLED in 55" and 65"
- X900F in 49", 55", 65", 75" and a new 85" with Dolby Vision and Google Assistant/Echo-Alexa integration.
I don't think i'd use any of those features, but wondering if I made a mistake jumping on the X900E during brack flyday... Whatever, other than wishing it had better local dimming and a snappier interface, I'm really enjoying the X900E right now.

If this is true then I'm holding out on getting a new TV until these come out. Would love to have native GHA without going through my harmony hub.

Would not change anything for me because I only use the TV as a "dumb display", doing everything through external devices connected through a 4K receiver. It's the same with LG's lineup with their OLED. I wonder if *next year* will bring meaningful change to OLED technology like the eradication of potential burn-in and better nit...
Happy Koodo customer :-)

These prices are available in the GTA only, from a major retailer. Not "Golden" but a real retailer.

55X900E $1250
65X900E $1750
75X900E $3198
Any chance your friend has pricing for the X900F series?

Probably won't be out for a few months. Much like the OLEDs there's no compelling upgrades this year other than DV which other than the 900E most will have. Next year with 2.1 yes.

Pricing, or the item itself? I don't expect it to be available to buy until later in March or April. Hoping for pricing sooner.

Sony 900F (2018 version with Dolby Vision)
What do you recommend to buy the 900E (2017 version) or wait for the 900F (2018 version) main difference is processor and Dolby vision

There will always be a reason to wait but why when prices are great and you could enjoy the set now?

I actually started to get pop ups saying Samsa is crashing over an over.. had to re enable it..
A week later, and mine started doing the same.

I just bought a 55" X900E through Hibbing's contact.

Great price!
