TV and Steel Studs
OK, I did a search and even though this has been discussed, I could not find anything relating to steel studs.
We would like to hang a 42 inch LCD TV from the wall. The problem is that it is an inside wall and the studs are steel, 18 inches on center. The TV is actually quite heavy.
I cannot find any kind of fastener that I feel would secure the mount into the steel studs. I also don't believe that the drywall is strong enough alone to support the weight.
Any ideas on how I can mount this TV on the wall?
Thanks.

Done it many times.
Drill through the centre of the stud. Use a toggle bolt. Works quite well.
If it's REALLY heavy, then cut out a piece of the drywall and put a 3/4" piece of plywood in place and secure to the studs by blocking it with wood.
