I got a M121 and find out it is only output up to 720p on the TV. I am talking about the menu on the Tvpad only. I understand the video stream from the internet isn't 1080p, but isn't the menu should display in 1080p? Anyone else having this issue?

sorry i only have one 720p TV at home and a bunch of old AV TVs; im not very rich afterall
also, just bought a dwa-125 at best buy per rageguy's suggestion, with the intention of returning it since it seems cheaper to get one on ebay but need to test to see if it works first.
though i wonder what is more stable and better, dwa-125 (if it works) or a wireless bridge connected to ethernet port (coz it will end up costing the same)

I read online the DWA-130 works as well online.
I am going to try the dwa 140 and 130 first from Best Buy as my router is very far away and I want faster transfer speed.
Can't wait for my M121 to arrive.

Anybody want to help me out in helping me order one of these. Don't speak/read Chinese but buying for someone that does (as a gift). I tried Google translate and created a login but then the pages after don't get translated and are in Chinese again. The URL doesn't change so can't even paste in the URL for conversion. If someone can be so kind as to take screenshots of each page that would be awesome.
Thanks.
I know someone else asked earlier in this thread and there weren't any replies but I'll ask again: Does anyone know of any TVPad support sites in English?

if you are chinese-illiterate, i think you are in for a really rough road. sure we can translate the ordering page and add a remark to the order saying that you can only speak english, but the thing is that there is no english interface for the tvpad so support for the chinese-illiterate will be very difficult. that said, there is only one support forum for tpvad which is tvpadfans.com and you can post in english and im sure there are people that who can communicate back in good english; just dont expect someone to give you an entire walkthrough; you may be better off telling that someone (the person you are giving the tvpad to) to look up that forum themselves

I bought mine from this reseller on ebay. it only cost 15 bucks with free shipping. it works fine.

i tried the best buy one, it works but after awhile the connection isnt really stable. it seems that the further away from the router the less reliable it becomes: if the adapter is within the same room as the router its fine (played the tvpad overnight and no issues) but if i put it on a different floor i get disconnects which is a bit annoying
i will continue to test it for a bit. i ordered the adapter anyways on ebay and planning on returning the best buy one once it arrives and continnue to test with the ebay one. if further down the road the wireless is not very reliable i may switch to a wireless bridge solution instead

Thanks for the replies chroma_cg and sexyj, although I get a 403 forbidden with the picture.
I came back to look for the discount code and noticed the replies. I guess I will hold off for another day on ordering. The ordering page actually had Chinese text so was able to translate some via Google. The first pages had graphics with Chinese text so couldn't do that.
Here's the thing. The gift recipient is computer illiterate but Chinese literate. I'm the exact opposite. I currently have them setup with an old P4 box streaming directly from CCTV. However they understand Cantonese more than Mandarin so would like to get some Cantonese channels. I tried with a HK VPN to get TVB but was too slow and it only streamed in TVB primetime shows. I have them click the bookmarks for each of the CCTV channels and have Firefox startup upon boot. That's how much they know.
I thought I read this thread enough to understand but I guess I don't.
- someone said the setup language can be changed to English... I'm guessing this was for the OS (Android) and the actual setup for the programs is Chinese only?
- How pre-configured in it out of the box?
- Once configured, changing channels is just a press of the remote right? That they can do. I would only need help if the streams changed and needed new firmware, correct?
- What needs to be configured for first setup that I would need help with?
Thanks for all your help guys.
