Two Brokerages for the same MLS Listing

I have never come across this before. The listing states that Form 244 has been filled out, no sharp offers, no pre-emptive offers before a certain date and time. Offers must be registered by 4:00 PM and the seller will not look at offers before 6:30 PM. No problem with that portion.

The part that really gets me (do not understand) is that there are two different agents/brokerages. Clarification: not just different offices, ie - Remax and Century 21

Saw one like that myself today with 2 listing brokerages. Was also wondering what the deal is with that?

^^^^^ I thought about divorce or property settlement situations last night but of course I could not wrap my head around the potentially increased costs.

Thank you for that insight and link.
