U of T Library & Windows Vista Software.
Can somebody from U of T tell me if they can buy student version of Windows Vista Ultimate or Business? If so, please let me know how much. I remember I bought student WinXP from UT 3 years ago and it was around $120CDN.
Let me know, thanks!
.Eric

I can come by the bookstore tomorrow. I live within their St. George campus limits, so I can check.
I wonder if the alumni qualify to buy it at a discount. If so, my sister will be sent out.

I contacted the U of T guys who are in charge of the MSDNAA software stuff. If you go to UT's website and google for MSDNAA, you could probably find the website and their names.
Yes indeed MSDNAA allows you to get Microsoft products at a discount but Com. Sci students and Engineering are able to get certain software for free. Engineering students should be able to login online at MS's website but Com Sci peeps need to get a form from Lloyd Smith who handles Com Sci affairs (Com sci wireless network and etc) and then borrow the CDs from the Information Commons at Robarts Library.

I was there last week looking for Office 2007. They have boxed Vista Home Premium, academically priced, around ~$110, along with a bunch of academically priced boxed Office 2007s.
The volume licenced MS Select stuff, which for Office is much cheaper, wasn't available when I went there...

You should definitely check your msdnaa first, I'm in business and we get the business edition of vista for free but anyone with a university login can actually get it so it's not really restricted even though the link itself is specific to faculties.
