U of T Summer Abroad, anyone done it?

I'm thinking of going for the Japanese course next year in Japan. Anyone done it and have any advice?

I'm thinking of either HK or Japan, depends on cost, courses, etc. I would love to do both, maybe if the dates can coincide perfectly and I win the lottery, or get a nice bonus at work...

My gf did Summer Abroad in France this past summer and she loved it. But France is France, Japan is Japan...can't say for sure that you'll love it too.

A friend of mine did the HK summer abroad and she said it was pretty bad (mostly because of the crappy prof I guess).

We got scotland over here at Western..I'd danm like to do that, but you need something like 88% to be considered...pfft not happening
