Just came home from writing the Physics 12 provincial! I'm in grade 12 and planning on going to UBC Science next year. When the UBC rep came to my school, I asked her about the conditional acceptance offers made in April and what "conditional" meant. She told me the offers made aren't really conditional, they're pretty much set. They won't care if you drop from 100 to 80, only if you end up with around 60% or lower.
Not too sure if that's totally accurate, but that's what the admissions rep told me. I think if you end up with a higher mark in July and you didn't get accepted in April, they will reconsider you based on your new marks.
