Uh... is there really a market for "vintage" keyboards?
WTF...
http://cgi.ebay.ca/VINTAGE-OLD-DELL-...QQcmdZViewItem
$500 USD starting bid for a old Dell "CLICKY KEYBOARD"??? Either this guy is completely out of it... or I threw away like $10,000 worth of "vintage" computer equipment in the past year.

That's far too much money, considering that Dell wasn't the owner of the technology in the first place - that belonged to IBM, then Lexmark, and now a company in Lexington KY (I think it's pckeyboards.com). A rebranded clicky keyboard really shouldn't cost *that* much; even an original standard IBM blue-tag or white-tag keyboard shouldn't be more than $100 USD.
But yes, there is a market for vintage keyboards. I'm currently typing on a POS Fujitsu keyboard at work, and there's a huge difference between it and my 1989 IBM Model M "clicky" keyboard.

Ooooh! Those IBM keyboards! I used to use one when I was a sysadmin. I didn't know how much they were worth until I left that company. I should have taken one with me!
They were nice and solid from what I remember. Very heavy. Loud clicky noises though (I already type hard as it is!). PS/2 interface is a little dated.

Why do hardware manufacturers feel the need to add 'click' sounds to everything.?
