Yes, now look a little further and you will see that some of the scholarships and bursaries outside of those are exclusive to french speakers. Thus, meaning if you speak French, you will have more access to scholarships and bursaries.cyruskafaiwu wrote: ↑What are you talking about all the automatic bursaries are the same for anglophone and francophone.
80-84 1000/yr (up to 4000)
85-89 2000/yr (up to 8000)
90 - 94 3000/yr (up to 12000)
95+ 4000/yr (up to 16000)
In order to maintain that amount a CGPA of 8.5 is required.
Some other ones:
French Studies Bursary (enroll in french immersion) - 1000/yr (up to 4,000)
Financial Need Bursary - 1000/yr (up to 4,000)

This doesn't mean that scholarships are "not so good" if you are an anglophone. Besides, it's always based on financial aid and just because you speak french, doesn't mean you're going to magically get twice as much (or whatever amount) as someone who doesn't.

Scholarships are not based on financial aid. Also, since a portion of the award funding is exclusive to french speakers, the overall awards funding for anglophone students will be less when compared to bilingual and french students. I am not saying there is anything wrong with that. I am just stating the facts.
