Always read the Terms of Service [TOS].
I remember looking around for an ISP and some of the "unllimited" ones [I think Maya is one] states that during peak hours, the user is capped at 1 or 2 hours max, then disconnected. They are free to reconnect again.
What BS.

Been disabling the ads and been able to stay on with Juno for endless amounts of time with Juno. (now netzero)
My record is 86 hours when I went to the lake for long weekend. Downloaded 4GB of warez from Kazaa. AT 56K!
Heh heh.

Boardband is still the cheapest bang for the buck in Canada. Get it if you can, because it will eventually becomes like the US, where you'll pay literally twice as much for half the speed, and strictly enforced bandwidth limits. Enjoy it while you can.

a bad experience with 3web
I went into a bad experience with 3web. I signed for the 3web services with modem rental plan. I encouraged eight of my friends to join and they referred me. 3web sent me a non provioning modem that can not be connected to Shaw Network. I went into troubles for three months lost many hours for waiting for Shaw technical support service who said they can not help and waiting on the phone for at least 1/2-1 hour each call to 3web. After three months, they said they can not do anything and I should return back the modem to them. I lost more than $500 from my work time and did not get anything even my registration ($40) fees for three months of internet. I sent them two emails and they did not respond. I phoned them waiting for 45 min at least and at the end they will ask you to leave your phone number and no reply.
