the offer is alrdy over. and i've searched around and ppl have said that it does not void warranty since the 1yr warranty is from RIM and not rogers.. so it does not affect the warranty even if u unlock by code

yup, i think it must've ended at midnight because there was still a lot of codes when i last checked.

and yup, unlocking will not affect your warranty. you aren't modifying the software in any way (ie. unbranding, updating OS to non-rogers approved version, etc)

According to Rogers using an unlock code does void your warranty. Doesn't mean they are going to look for it. But it theory it does.

I called, twice, and got the same answer.
Possible the Roger reps are wrong.

Prolly for other phones ya.. but it doesnt affect blackberries.. and the reps prolly think that u mean unbranding it but again that doesnt affect blackberries since they dont allow rogers to add their own apps to it

Just got a Rogers BB 9000 I wanna unlock, may hold out but $5 isn't that bad either.
