Recently, tablets manufactures seem to lower the price. But some infos are mixed together. It is no good for RFDers to search and compare. I just want RFDers put your info about tablets in one forums and easy for others share them. Thanks in advance. The line below is to August 10,2011

1 staples sometimes has some coupons online or instore, you can get lower price than mentioned below.

glass-free 3d tablet is going out on war.

Starting the asus MeMo, optimus pad (which come with 3d glasses), then the rumor XOOM 2 having 3D glass free. I don't found the current tablet are anything different if you have an android phone already.

P.S if you are a big fan of watching stuff (most anime fansub). please do yourself a favor and get a XOOM. Apparently XOOM can run not all but most video exist on the market.

Yes, it will run H264! without those pesky app that stop every 5 sec. I have one, i got a transformer to Iconia to Xoom and finally decide the XOOM is absolute best for video.

But unfortunately, Xoom has the worst screen of almost all tablets - too low contrast and milky looking. Keep and eye on your digitizer -a friend already sent one back because the digitizer cable came loose inside rendering the touchscreen non-functional unless you pressed down hard on one corner of the glass.

Same here, I bought the Iconia 16 GB for 325 with coupons and then exchanged it to the transformers and then to the Xoom. Transformers has the better screen but the build quality of the Xoom out weight the competition if it is onlly 399.99 for 32 GB.

Although I have yet to find a good portfolio case with a reasonable price, if anyone can recommend me one, much appreciated.
