UofT ECO100Y1 enrollement
Hi,
I am searching for a seat in ECO100Y1Y - Intro to Economics course offered at University of Toronto @ St. George Campus. Right now, the enrollement is filled and I am only eligible (being a 4th year engineering student) to enroll in LEC0301 and LEC5101.
ECO100Y1 Y - Intro Economics
The criteria selected matched no meeting sections.
LEC 0101 You do not fit in any enrolment category. There are 340 total spaces in the meeting section.
LEC 0201 You do not fit in any enrolment category. There are 340 total spaces in the meeting section.
LEC 0301 Meeting Section is full.
LEC 5101 Meeting Section is full.
So, is anyone here enrolled (in lec 0301 or lec 5101) in ECO100Y1Y - Intro to economics course on ROSI and might not be taking it for next year? If so, if you could please PM me. I am willing to pay.
Thanks!

If you're a fourth year and need it to graduate this year the registrar will put you in the class I'm pretty sure, even if it's full. Otherwise just keep checking, after fees have to be paid and after first week of class is when people usually drop.

No, not really. There are other arts & science courses that I could choose from. But, seeing as how ECO100 is totally a birdy course and doesn't conflict with my other enginnering courses I want this over any other course.
So, if anyone could help me out here I would appreciate it.

So, you want to pay someone to drop the class so that you can take it?
Weird.

No.
There is a limit to how many courses you can have in a semester. Some stds., however have crossed that limit and taken extra courses as "backup" and won't drop until school starts or until the course selection deadline is reached. That puts stds. who are ready to take the course in a very tight situation as we can't enroll in the course because there are no seats left.
So, I am asking if someone knows that they won't be taking eco100 and have just added the course as a backup to give the seat to someone who is willing to take the course.

The problem is that whenever they drop, I may not be on ROSI to get that empty seat. So, there is always this risk that I may not get enrolled in the course. But, I guess I will wait for a while and see how things turn out.
Thanks for your replies guys.

Code a script to keep checking ROSI. Make sure you use proxies.
Problem solved.
