I have some courses that I am interested in as well. Since they are not really required courses for my program, I am not on the waitlist for them. (i maxed out my credits per semester). class is about 500...currently there are 33 on the wait list...it is a B level course so I am not too sure if I can still get in. so if there are some trick to it, please elaborate

talk with your registar, they have special powers,(with a press of a few buttons) they can put you into a course that is full or have enrollment control, as long as you have a good reason for it.

That's pretty risky. They'll cut you off from ROSI if you're caught doing something like that, and proxies won't really help since you're logging in with your own student number anyway.

You could try being smart and writing something to simulate reasonable activity that doesn't look like it's automated, but that's a lot of trouble to be going through when you could just take another course or wait until people drop.

At least they've solved this problem with ECE courses now that Magellan is up and running. I was so used to the usual 6:00 am ROSI pain - it was almost weird getting all the ECE stuff I wanted without any hassle.

lucky you.. i'm still waiting for my chance. I was so close to enroll on the aug 10 morning... stupid rosi kicked me out since the server was overloaded.. when I got back in.. it was gone
