It's $100 cheaper than T-Mobile's contract price, and it's a 2 year term and not 3 year like everything else.

Thats actually not a bad price at all -
I bought the 16gb version off the Play store and it came to be around $390 with shipping + tax

And Wind wants to sell it for $550 outright =/

I don't understand why I would buy a locked phone for $480 (tax incl) or an unlocked version for $425 (tax incl). People have said that you will save time on shipping. Depending on when you put your order in, thats true. For me, I will get my phone in 2 days, so I will wait for it to arrive in the mail.

All Nexus devices are unlocked, including this one from Fido.

So $480 no shipping and local pickup is not that bad.

From Fido, it's $425.

An extra $45 for not having to wait for shipping and to have a physical brick and mortar store to go into for any problems/repairs/issues you may have with the phone and it's $45 well spent I'd say.
