How would that affect the life/wear & tear of the CPU going that low on the vcore? Or is it better for the CPU overall?

Aug. 9 2007 Update
Decided to have some fun with xtreme undervolting
.
Ambient temp is 16-17 degrees Celsius (in the basement lol).
1.1375 vcore in bios, 1.10 under load. Priming and 3dMark06 rock stable so far!

Futuremark 3D Mark 06 Compare link: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=2695495
Okay, finally found the max stable OC at 1.10 vcore real under load.
Finally, found max stable overclock was @ 2.85 Ghz. This is very impressive considering this is at 1.10 vcore under load!
G0 = :up:

Okay, I think I'm done for the night.
Enjoy.
____________
Aug. 11, 2007 Update
Back with some more results!
Max stable FSB was 480 Mhz but I forgot to take a screen.
3.7 Ghz w/ vcore at 1.43-1.44 under load - Temps never reached above 70 degrees Celsius. This will be my new 24/7 overclock.
Idle:

Load:

4 Ghz bootable no problem! (1.52-1.54 vcore)

what version of prime95 is the latest?
I'm looking to prime my q6600, I'm scared I might have damaged while trying to install the damn heatsink.

Is the 4 Ghz stable at all or does it only "boot"? And is the 1.52v the real vcore or the bios vcore?

August 12, 2007 Update
Got another 2 GB of ram and decided to push it a little bit further. Was able to reach 3.8 Ghz PRIME stable wtih 4 GB of DDR2.
My new 24/7 atm

CPU-Z Screen

I don't feel comfortable running it with so much juice. I'm going to try to find the best clock around 1.25 vcore real range. Be back later!_______________
