I was under the impression that panasonic plasmas were assembled in mexico = no duty under nafta, i could be wrong tho...

For the last time, there is NO DUTY on Panasonic Viera TVs as they are made in Mexico.
That's why we have NAFTA.
Just pay your PST & GST (and State tax of course).

Uh yeah but is that just the straight conversion rate? That's not what you pay in reality--you have to account for the "spread" which is typically 2-3%.
