If a thermostat doesn't have an "away" recovery option, I'm out. We are at the inlaws for the night, cottage, or even the 3 times in 8 years we have been south to have paid for itself. The higher end honeywells have that option (like, 120 buck ones) and I won't get one without that. My dads peak saver looks the same as mine but its missing that key feature and they are at the cottage 3-4 days at a time this time of year. The ability to turn the temp down until just before you get back is key.
