The Holy Grail! You've probably read by now that Toyota USA has explicitly told its dealers not to sell any cars (new or used) that will be exported out of the US. I think I'd even be a little suspicious if you do find an "official" Toyota dealer willing to sell to one of us.
I hope I'm wrong as I was hoping to get an Avalon from the US myself but now I'm pretty discouraged. But PM me if you do find someone (after getting your Rav4 first of course!)

US Toyota Dealership Willing to Sell to Canadians?
I'm in the process of purchasing a new Rav4 in the US. Anyone know of a US Toyota dealership willing to sell to Canadians? Not having any luck finding one so far. Thanks.

You sure? I thought that west coast Toyota's were distributed by a third party?
As for pming, it may not be safe to do that anymore either. Toyota reps could be lurking on here now.

So THAT's why Toyota honours the warranty in Canada... they've just found another way to screw people.

I am just confirming the deal to buy a Sienna XLE with some options.(custom order) If all goes well I should have it in 3 weeks.
I will not publish the dealers name in here but if you e-mail me with the details of the Toyota you are looking for I will talk to my salesperson.

If people are angry about this then don't buy Toyota. Support Subaru who have no qualms about selling to anyone and honors factory warranty on both sides of the border.

You do understand that Subaru's lineup is lacking minivan (perennial best-seller for cross-border shoppers) and they're rather short in bigger vehicles in general, don't you? I would say that their model line covers only 3 Toyota models (Corolla, Camry, CR-V). Anything bigger or smaller, you're so out of luck. Also Subaru tends to be more expensive to insure, although it has more to do with price gouging from insurance mafia in Ontario, than with Subarus themselves.

I would check with Fuccillo Toyota. It's about 10 minutes from the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls. They even say in their radio ads that they're happy to sell to Canadians.
