I dunno, I keep a mailbox there so it's priced differently than one-up. You can call them 716 298 4461.[There is a mailboxes etc at 1623 military road (wegmans plaza) that I always use.

However, if they still don't get around to "updating" their website after weeks and weeks and weeks. Makes me think twice.
I'll still keep them in mind though._______________

I have a business account in my own name. Whenever I have anything shipped to me I have a "business number:####" put in the address. It goes through customs without a single hitch, I don't even pay GST on the stuff.. But about 99% of the stuff I import is actually resold, so really I am not cheating the system.
If you go to a UPS store you get a suite address, so give that a try. They need to see ID and such, but Canadian Id will suffice.

How does having a business prevents you from paying GST? Please explain! It is my understanding that everyone (including business) pays GST. However, business can apply GST back in the income return.

So for using The Letter Carrier...if we're forwarding a laptop purchased from Dell.com...how would that work? Tell TLC the value in US that you paid? And then just take the hit on the GST/PST??
Cuz there's no way Canada Customs will believe a huge box with DELL labelled all over is a $60US gift that's a laptop!!!

There were several mentions of the Mailboxes Etc. on Military Road (Niagara Falls, NY). I couldn't locate them anywhere, but did find a UPS Store with the same address. I e-mailed them about Canadian pickup, and here is their response:
yes we are open m-f 9-7 / sat 9-3 / sunday we are closed .
we will need the name the package is coming in and a phone # to contact .
you should have the package addressed to :
your name
care of the ups store
1623 military rd
niagara falls new york 14304
have your phone # put on the label as well .
ITS $5 FOR A SMALL BOX , $10 for MEDIUM, AND $15 FOR A LARGE , WE WILL CALL YOU WHEN IT ARRIVES AND ITS $1 EVERY DAY WE HOLD EACH PACKAGE .

Is there anyone on RFD that would go back and forth from the U.S. on a regular basis that has a U.S. address (or live in the U.S.) that could help me out? I want to order something off the internet (clothes) that only delivers to the U.S. If they could provide a mail forwarding service for me, that would be great...
I'm willing to pay a commission fee per package, of course...
Anyone, anyone?
