I am in the same boat as you and looking to grab this from Canada Computers:

I was just browsing Amazon and they have some others for cheaper...depends on if you can wait for it or you would rather pick it up locally:

https://www.amazon.ca/ELEGIANT-22Pin-Ad ... +ssd+cable

https://www.amazon.ca/StarTech-com-10Gb ... +ssd+cable
Telus: $50/100GB CAN/US 5G+
Rogers $34/40GB 5G+

First off it's not an SSD to SSD connector. It's a SATA to USB cable/interface. It works for any SATA device; not all SSDs are SATA cables either.

Secondly...

Make no mistake the "eBay/China" one and the Startech one from CC are the exact same thing, from the looks of it. The differences are:
-At CC you walk in today and pay $25+tax and you have the item today. With eBay China sellers you're going to pay 1/5th of that but you're also going to have to wait for 60-90 days to get the thing.

-At CC you have a 30-day exchange in case there is something wrong with it you can walk in and walk out with a new one. With eBay the seller might send you another one if you complain but that's another 2-3 months before you get it. Also the seller may require you to send the old one back which costs more than the original price, lol, meaning it'd be better to just buy another one.

-The CC purchase, the Startech branding gives it a 2yr warranty in case it becomes defective down the road. No such warranty on the eBay/China seller.

Up to you whether the 3 month wait and no warranty are worth it for the $20+ savings over CC.
