there was nothing stopping you from doing this before with GV or freephoneline.ca and using iSip or w.e it was called. Nor was there anything stopping you from just using an android phone the same way (or just grab an aws android phone). i wouldn't really consider this to be an iphone on winds network either... imo

Use iphone or ipod touch on winds network
Thanks to the new free fongo.com app - http://forums.redflagdeals.com/fongo...rvice-1139985/
you can now use an iphone or ipod touch with winds network.
I have an ipod touch 4G and installed the fongo app - got a free number. Have an unlimited laptop data plan from wind http://www2.windmobile.ca/en/Pages/data-plans.aspx and then use a mifi device - http://shop.windmobile.ca/ProductCat...A)&color=green
Took it around today to test it out and it works awesome!!! The only crappy part is that you have to keep the mifi device with u all the time.
Just need to get a compatible bluetooth headset and im set

This is using your iPhone on Wind as much as me using my printer on Wind (Wind phone sharing data > WiFi printer).
