Using Corner Beads in Reverse? (Offset 135° for drywalling)

Home Depot (or anywhere local apparently) doesn't seem to have any 135° Offset Outside Corner Beads (metal paper faced) for drywalling. They do have the Offset Inside Bead though. Can I use these in reverse on an outside (but the metal will be facing outwards). All purpose compound should stick to the metal right?

Use the flex metal tape roll, fits any angle inside or out

Look for this stuff, depending on the brand some have plastic and some have metal. The fold is heavy paper but the sides of the fold would be metal or plastic. Here is one type you may find something cheaper or in less quantity:
