Using a different phone with Virgin Mobile

Basically, I want to get the Nokia 6680 and somehow unlock it or something in order to use it on the virgin mobile plan. Does anyone know if this is even possible? I did some research and found out that Virgin Mobile uses the bell networks and that it is a CDMA network. The Nokia 6680 is (apparently) compatible with both GSM and CDMA networks. I wanted to buy one off ebay and transfer it onto VM.


Does anyone have any experience using a different phone with Virigin Mobile (other than what they offer)?

I've called vm about this before and they said no. Phone needs to be programmed for their network. /shrug
