using a digital photo frame as a display on HTPC
I'm wondering how, assuming its possible to use a digital photo frame as a display for my HTPC build. I know there are HTPC cases with an lcd display, but they're all well over $500. Is the lcd display on the digital photo frame similar enough to use as an lcd display for a computer case. Anyone tried something similar?

I wanted to do this as well and failed. Those photo frames just don't have the resolution required for such a feat. My main monitor is 1080p and to extend a secondary display to the photo frame, which are usually around the 800x600 resolution, means it creates a lot of incompatibility issues.

Samsung picture frames have a Mini-Monitor feature... I don't really know how it works, but I'm sure google would.
