Using a regular mouse for a laptop??
Hey just recently bought a laptop for the first time and looking to purchase a mouse for it. I prefer it to be wireless. Now I notice there different kinds of mouses, one for PC and one for the notebook. The notebook ones are usually the small kinds, can i buy the ones for PC and still be able to use it on my laptop. Thanks

any mouse will work. Just be carefull when you buy a wireless mouse that it comes with an actualy usb key like dongle and not a long corded one that some desktops have.
Any of the computer shops like canadacomputers or logiccomputerhouse have refurb items at a decent price usually.
I'm currently using my G7 on my laptop but I wouldn't recommend it as the battery doesn't last that long._______________

I plan to use my laptop ALOT so would it be wise for me to buy a corded mouse instead of a wireless one because i dont want to switch my battery all the time or risk having no mouse at all.

If you dont care then get a corded of course, but I dont see the problem with replacing batteries, and I quite like the logitech bluetooth laptop mouse I got for my X60...

I was in the same boat and just got a laptop a few weeks ago. I just picked up a logitech VX Revolution. Makes me much more productive.

Get a wireless mouse for sure with a laptop. Wired is just annoying. There are plenty out there that have decent battery lifes. the G7 just isn't one of them. If you have blue tooth built in pick one of those upfor sure, if not the VX revolution has a small USB dongle that is always nice to use.
