No, however you need to have ID with a photograph such as a DL. Check with the airline.

As others said just id. I don't bring my passport with me domestically.

No. But expired PP can be used as Photo ID. Don't know for how long. May be a year.

You don't need photo id to travel in Canada. Some airline require non-photo id for revenue protection though.

Not quite true. If you appear to be over 18, you must present 2 pieces of government issued non-photo ID (with one indicating date of birth and gender) OR 1 piece of government issued photo ID. Air carriers must verify this during boarding.
