I saw it here in the Value Village at BC. So it's probably Canada-wide. The last time they had this sale though, I heard that the lineups were so long.Originally Posted by pawlusho

Value Village (Village des Valeurs)-50% off-Tues. Sept 6th
Hi,
I have been passing this store this week in Montreal and it has many big signs on its front windows of the 50% sale on Tues. Sept. 6th. I am not sure if this is across Canada. The only things I have bought there were used books, but on the last 50% sale there were a lot of people buying all sorts of things, especially clothes.

So is it Canada-wide or not? It sounds like it, with one in B.C. and one in Montreal, but two can be coincidence.
Can a third person confirm? VV is a ways away for me, and I want to know if I should drive there or not bother.

Toronto at Bloor Lansdowne
I went there last year at around 2:00 or p.m. and there was "nothing" left. They didn't put any new stuff out either. I noticed a couple of people wearing air filters on their face. Didn't understand why, until the next day, when my itchy throat turned into a lung infection - lots of unwashed clothes, dust and people jammed together

Value Village is to be avoided on 50% off day.
The line ups are huge, people fight over petty stuff, and the selection is usually pretty picked through.
I used to do all my vintage shopping the day before 50% off day, becuase theats when they have the best selection.
Sale should be Canada wide.
