Thanks for the question @Wiseman - it looks like both the Hotels.com and Sephora deals through PayPal Digital Gifts is over, moved deals to Expired:

New west flyers available, new adds:

  • [Feb 22 Only] - [ Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix (QC) ] - SDM/Pharmaprix: Seniors Day - Save 20% Off Regular Priced Merchandise AND Receive A $10 SDM/Pharmaprix Bonus Card On A Purchase Of $50 Or More, One $10 Bonus Card Per Transaction Per Customer, See Reverse Of $10 Bonus Card For Expiry Date And Usage Terms (Top Left Of Page 1 & Bottom Of Page 6 Of Feb 17 to 23 Flyer) - $10 SDM/Pharmaprix Bonus Card
  • [Feb 18 Only] - [ Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix (QC) ] - SDM/Pharmaprix: Get A Free SDM/Pharmaprix gc* Worth $20 When You Spend $75 Or More On Almost Anything In The Store. *gc Cannot Be Redeemed For Cash Or Credit And Is Valid On Your Next Purchase Of $20 Or More (Top Right Of Page 1 & Bottom Of Page 5 Of Feb 17 to 23 Flyer) - $20 SDM/Pharmaprix gc*

Note the "gc*" I added for the non-senior SDM/Pharmaprix offer - calling the card a GC but limiting the purchase to minimum $20 would suggest some sort of coupon/promo card and not a GC.

Main thread
Last time they had the deal on eBay, I loaded them into my Uber account. UberEats automatically used the credit next time I ordered.

What's the best and cheapest way convert gift card to cash?

For example, I got $500 in STC gift card? Straight to VISA?

The only way I know of is cardswap.ca. They typically pay ~75% of the giftcard's value. They pay higher for some GC's, and sometimes even lower for others. They provide a free shipping label, will reimburse you for registered mail if your GC's are worth $300 or more, and they will either send you a check or a reloadable Esso GC valued at a few dollars more (your choice).

edit: I don't know what an STC is but you can punch in the value and store in their website without committing to anything and they will provide you with the amount they'll pay for it.

Hmm, I might as well convert it to Visa and lose 2-3%

I believe STC is the acronym for Toronto's "Scarborough Town Centre" mall.

He probably means using his STC gift card to purchase a prepaid VISA at the Walmart or SDM in STC and eating the activation fee.

This was a thing? Completely missed it.
Edit: Oh, no I didn't, it was those specific cards. Wasn't interested :) Fewf

[Dec 27 to ?] - [ Ebates Gift Shop ] - Petro Canada: Get A $100 Reloadable Petro Canada GC And Receive A Bonus $10 Preferred Pricing Card Valid For 5 Cents Per Litre Up To 200 Litres Plus Earn 2.0% CB, Bonus Preferred Pricing Card Expires Dec 31, 2019 - $10 Preferred Pricing Card Plus 2.0% Ebates CB

Not sure if this has been addressed...
When you go into the Ebates.ca gift card shop it looks like you must order the physical PetroCan gift card to qualify for the Preferred Pricing Card, not the reload.

Is that right?
Or does getting a reload also add to your PPC either automatically or by adding a code?

I just ordered my first physical card but not sure the best way to save money on subsequent purchases.
