I ordered my tv at 8:30 this morning on Costco, at 12:30 I received a shipping notification just for the extended warranty

But I just received another email that the tv is being shipped.

So don't be too concerned if you only got the first one - I'd assume the second email should be coming shortly

Has anyone bought it from Best Buy? I only see Costco people here. It seems it's out of stock everywhere. Luckily I reserved. I was surprised it was allowed. Gonna pick it up tonight!

Just got home from Best Buy with the 55". Think I got the last one at the Victoria location, took them 15 minutes to find me one. Paid just under $1500 with tax and fees, came with the $130 gift card.

Same with me. Ordered at 9:30 this morning and only received the auto response. No shipping notice.

Some were able to price match Best buy's 10% promo from previous posts. :/

I had my Sony 900E reserved, but went to a visions before picking it up and negotiated the Samsung MU8000 to $1050 - no brainer, owner of a 8-Series now. :)

LOL. You are confused. The person matched Costco free shipping with Best Buy and it was one person and not some. Costco only matches their lower price within the return period.

Reread that person's post.

For those wondering if you bought your tv before the aeroplan nov 23-27 promo. i called costco just now and they said if you become a costco member today and register your costco membership info on the aeroplan costco promo site then they'll give me a one time exception and give me the aeroplan points that come with the promo. so people that are already members they might do that for you as well if you bought your tv before the aeroplan promo.

This sony is rated higher and is a full array LED backlighting. #1 complaint of the mu8000 is backlight bleeding due to edge lighting. If you have a very bright room the mu8000 will do fine.
