Venue for small wedding in Vancouver

I am planning to have a very small wedding (around 20 people including us) in Vancouver during the first 2 weeks of September. would appreciate any suggestion for venue (a restaurant?).

i have never been married before and dont really know what the procedures are. from what i found on the internet, i would go and buy a marriage license and then hire a comissioner within the next 3 months for the ceremony? would this be done at a civil office kind of place?

we will probably have the ceremony somewhere (maybe cityhall?) and then get together with a few friends in the evening.

does this sound right and normal?

There is a very small chapel on Fraser and 41st I think. I know it's on Fraser, you should check it out. It's great for small weddings. It's right in a neighbourhood behind Wescana Pharmacy.
