Sep 29th, 2005 10:54 AM #6I just think they had too many (good) story lines in the first season and they burned through them too quickly. Based on what I saw last night, this season might rely too much on overly dramatic plots and twists.

I agree that the show is going to lack something now that there isn't one underlying storyline, same thing with Desperate Housewive. But unlike DH, which seems desperate for a new mystery, VM subtly introduced a lot of new storyline on the season premiere that will be expanded throughout the season (although maybe too much, I agree that the episode was rushed too). I won't get into details, because I don't want to add spoilers, but I have no fears that this show will be cancelled anytime soon.

Sep 29th, 2005 12:23 PM #8Maybe the Season 2 premiere was overly dramatic to get/keep new viewers?

Oct 2nd, 2005 09:14 PM #14I kinda agree, unless Prison Break producers decide to pull a Reunion and switch up characters every season. Same idea with different stories..although..i don't see that working out for Prison Break now that I think about.

i wouldn't mind prison break ending as it's a good filler show but definitely not going for a 7 year run. it just seems right that when they reach onto the outside that it be over
