Phone deals on FS website never link right...
...that is, in the online flyer or on the mobile phone list pages, when you click the link the 'deal' is not usually reflected on the product page.
I think that is because you HAVE to buy in-store for these deals to work.
And I think "Rogers Virgin" means "rogers AND virgin phones".
Remember: if you use LESS than 100 minutes a month, SpeakOut wireless is a better value for you than Virgin Mobile... but if you use 100 minutes or MORE per month, Virgin Mobile is a better value that SpeakOut._______________

Buy a $100/365 day prepaid E-card and get $75 off any phone.
Basically it gets you 1 of 3 free handsets and a $100 to use for 1 year!
And also you get 100 bonus minutes when you buy a $100 card!
But if you talk much, then Rogers has the 1 cent eve week ends that beats this hands down!

This deal is not bad but not out of the ordinary at all. I have been on prepaid for 4 years, recently switched to monthly(with virgin). If I may, I'll share some experiences.
First, you've got to realize that prepaid is not a money generator for wireless providers. Really, they have it to get you to try it and get hooked, then go to monthly plan. They constantly change rates to minimize the costs of doing this. For instance, Virgin signed me up with a 250min/$20+tax per month plan 3 years ago, don't have it anymore. Today it really does not make sense to go on prepaid unless you need less than 100 mins per month. Most wireless carriers can offer plans for $30 or under everything included that will provide much more value than a prepaid account. In my experience with Virgin, the worst thing is LD. It costs 35c/min even if you are being called. That's rediculous.
7/11 is perhaps the best deal around for 'real' prepaid users that will use their phone sporadically. That said, the little-known advantage of Telus/Virgin/Fido/Bell prepaid is that top-up card for these services can be bought at FailureShop, Stooples & Bestbuy. This means discounts/coupons can often be stacked. For instance I recently bought $100 of credit for VM+$10 filler item, used pizza pizza $10 off coupon, then stacked SPC $10 coupon. Then paid with discounted giftcard for this. The filler item was on sale, so really it was $100 credit that cost about $70.
