VIA Rail is offering 50% off the peak adult regular fare in Economy and Business classes for travel in the Québec City – Windsor corridor until December 14, 2012 inclusive. Book by August 14, 2012 to take part.

Discounts apply to the peak adult regular fares, must be booked three days in advance of travel, and are non-refundable. Available on new bookings only.

Sample fares are $69 economy class for Toronto-Montreal, $32 for Ottawa-Montreal, $43 for Montreal-Quebec. There seems to be a few tickets left for Labour Day Monday if you're planning to travel over the long weekend!

Seems to work fine for me. $32 one-way.
Total for 2 adults with taxes comes to about $140 or so...
