Video card

I would like opinion for this following video card at CC for my pc. Currently using onboard video with amd x6 1090 cpu and 8gb of ram. I like to know if this is good card for photoshop stuff? no gaming. Any advise and other recommendation would be very appreciated. Thanks

Any Video Card will be sufficient for PhotoShop. What PhotoShop needs is RAM.

100% correct and excellent advice. This isn't Apple - you don't need more video memory or a better video card, only as much RAM as you can throw at the app.
The onboard video will be able to grab as much RAM as it could possibly need... over a gigabyte if necessary.

Once upon a time you needed a good video card for PS to obtain higher resolutions, but this is long gone. RAM and SSD's help a lot especially when manipulating large images in photoshop.

An SSD is a nice idea... and he has 8GB already - I'd almost go that route FIRST.

Where we might use the SSD for OS and apps, he might use an SSD for his workspace... all that disk-thrashing would be 10x faster!

I'd hit ctrl-alt-del >> Task Manager and check your memory usage (with a big picture you're working on) and see if you're anywhere near your 8GB ceiling. If you are, add more RAM. If you're not, an SSD would probably do more good.
