Video Card, Ram and Cooling
well i got a new acer cpu about 2 months ago its 2.8ghz and 256mb of ram with 200 gb hd (a 80gb and a 120gb) for 150 bucks. I dont know wut kind of video card i got, its stock so its prolly garbage (any way to tell with out opening my cpu?) Well now im hoping to upgrade my ram and video card but i dont know alot about those things so i was hoping u genius' here could help me out
.
Another problem i have is the loudness of the fan. When ever i play games my fan goes crazy. i dont know if a new video card and ram will fix that at all. if it does then its not a big problem. if it doesnt iim gonna need a better quieter fan. I heard something about water cooling or something like that? is that good is it cheap?
Please help me by posting any deals you know of about these things or information you cna give me about them so i can learn more.
Thank YOU

download Everest Home edition

it will tell you everything about your pc.
About the fan changing speeds...that's normal because your putting more load on the cpu than when it's idling and that also means more heat....so the cpu fan is probably using a temperature probe to control it's speed...so when the cpu heats up...the cpu fan needs to increase it's speed to compensate for the increased heat.
watercooling requires a lot of care and it's quiet but it's definately not for noobs to fiddle with....even the beginner kits like the coolermaster aquagate need some idea of computers to know how to install it....will cause more problems than prevent....for you.
I'd suggest a something easier to install like a big air cooler i.e. Zalman 7000 or 7700
