Most phones are compatible on a single band per type and bands are so exxxxxxpensive so im quite sure that yes every tower has both bands. If you call and a skilled tech tells you otherwise tells us, but fairly certain im right.

Called Koodo earlier to see if they had anything to match this as I'm in the Ottawa area. As I'm currently paying $49 for 2gb data w/ unlimited phone. Guy said the only option was $55 with 3gb of data. Boo...

In the small print hidden at the bottom of the page, it says the multi-phone rebate only applies to plans that cost $46.95/month and up. I looked, because I was thinking that the bring your own phone $29.95 plan, minus discount for my husband, myself, and older kids, would be too good to be true. Apparently it is.

Curious about this as well, my TELUS contract is up Nov 6, would be saving 25$ a month for the 6gb plan

Has anyone tried to use this promo as leverage against Rogers?
I would love to do this. Please someone tell me if you succeed in getting a better plan by showing this one.

The big 3 still don't see Videotron as a threat in Ottawa as it's still unknown as a viable option for most people here. I don't see Videotron advertising here and they only have one kiosk in the city. Therefore, most people still assume they have to get a Quebec number or the service area is only good in Quebec.

Until enough people in Ottawa start switching, I doubt rival carriers will try to keep them
