Viewsat buying advice
I was just wondering what the better reciever was between the Viewsat Xtreme and Viewsat Ultra. I dont need many fancy features, just reliability. I was wondering if people who own or know anything about these receivers can tell me about their reliability and functionality. Im open to other recievers as well, but Ive heard good things about these two so thats why I as mentioning them. It would also help if someone could mention official resellers in the GTA to buy from.
Thanks

that usb feature is really handy, and the xtreme is discontinued, iirc, so chances are, ultra support will last a little longer. . .
plus, since xtreme is discontinued, i'd be really wary about getting a clone. most legit dealers are sold out

The USB functionality on the Ultra is well worth the extra money. I have an Ultra and a Platinum, and it's a pain to have to unhook the Platinum every time it needs an update.
I've bought from Sky High Electronics and Save and Replay with no problems. Both are authorized Viewsat dealers, so no worries of getting clones.

If I was to use an existing mem stick, do I just create folders on it, or do I need a mem stick specifically for the receiver.

dixie and matheson, bythe stage west theatre and mcdonalds, there is a plaza there and you can get it cheaper than skyhigh, whose prices are skyhigh. How ironic
