Just call in, they can definitely add it for you. Generally the rep instore would automatically add either the 10% discount for you or the 1st month free.

Called this morning. 1 minute hold. Spoke with a female rep who transferred me to another rep who was located in Eastern Canada. Got the deal for 2 lines saving me $240. Painless. Thanks, OP!

I think because the account I have is less than a month old. She has put a note on it to take old account into consideration to see if that qualifies me as a "loyal" customer.

He wouldn't give me first month, but randomly gave me 6th month free for one line.
Waived activation fee for one of the lines.
Also said that 10% discount would only be if I signed a 2 year deal for a device, which I'm not sure if I believe

Straight from the website, $30 / 500 minute plan. And then in the hot deals section it says $10 byop discount on any line. The first rep told me to get $10 off you have to be on a minimum $40 plan but I convinced the second rep to give it to me.

I am on the TB plan without a 10% discount. Called in and was denied once because my plan is not "in-market", calling back now. Very annoying so I don't think I will try again if this fails.

He said there is a note on my account that says I couldn't get this added. Then it got disconnected right after, or he hung up(lol)

I tried with my account - two lines on the $55 Loyalty plan... it's been 25 months since I joined Virgin. I called into Loyalty, who told me the promotion ended on Dec 31. I asked to be transferred to an account specialist, and this new person said they told me they couldn't apply the discount because I had the Loyalty plans.

It ends on January 8th. Every rep has different information and it won't be the same for every rep.

What number did you call. I was just going back and forth with them for an hour and they said file a complaint and call tomorrow between 9am-9pm. I'm in the GTA btw
