working for virgin is alright, its pretty easy tbh.
we don’t have that many plans so it is quite easy to find the right plan for the right person.
You get paid base hourly with commission.
If you can get yourself into a teir A store, you can make some serious money.
Benefits…. Ahh u get 35% off all bell services. And you will get a free cell phone line for the duration of your involvement into the company
MMS is covered with all post paid plans (assuming you get the texting option and not the VM/ID option)_______________

I was looking on the website and the cheapest smartphone plan they had if I wanted a Samsung Galaxy SII was the 40$ plan (150 minutes + 6 pm early + 100 mb + choice of voicemail 10 or unlimited text). It was there this morning but I check back and it's gone. Is virgins rolling out new plans or what?

i thought it we were going to match it a back to school but nothing suggests that we are going to in the future.
not to my knowledge, the android 40 was still the in system toady, we recently revamped the website, so maybe its a glitch.

hi just one last question if you get a chance. i called earlier this week and only option was customer care and they when informed i was
considering returning my new purchase basically just said "no problem, you are within your 14 days and just return it. no effort"
so that was a waste .
so i tried again today and the girl said that she would need me to talk to customer care retention, i said i was fine to talk to them
and then a short hold later the girl came back and simply said "oh, ok, never mind, i spoke to them and they simply said return it". WHAT??
my goal was to try and get free caller id do i just keep trying, is that how it works? cuz so far it appears they have no desire whatsoever
to even try and keep me from returning my phone or leaving. i must say they are polite and hassle free but you know i dont really want
to return, just want caller id.
do they record notes? maybe it showed i already called once and now twice, or is that unlikely and just keep trying?
On a last note, the rep @ costco had no units and signed me up on a sat and got me GS2 next day, so i only have to tomorrow.
I noticed using phone for first time it is not connecting via usb and am worried i got a lemon. Help online has not fixed yet. worried as i am running out of time
to return it.
would appreciate your advice.

They say do both, if they are really looking for people they will take the physically paper applications before the online ones
You get a SIM card, and unlimited everything SIM card. The phone, you have to buy outright or bring your own unlocked phone to the company. The phone itself can’t be physically branded.
they only recroded notes that effect your plan ie. Free VM/ID and such that. They don’t record the amount of times you call.
I am not here to coach people on what to say to customer service, clearly other people have got it so it might just be bad luck that you are having.
IF you didn’t port in a number, then I would suggest going back to Costco, returning the phone completely and resigning up on a new number to re-engage the 14 days.
IF you ported the number… well then you are sadly SOL, and should of waited until you got your VM/ID for free before porting in_______________

Hi,
MY wife is looking for a new plan and we had felt we were going to go with Virgin's 40$ plan. We had been looking in July despite our current contract not expiring until the beginning of Sept, but when we looked last night the plan seems to have changed a bit (or we remember wrong - we thought there was text and VM/CID). My main issue however, is that when I click more details on the website it doesn't tell us anything about the plan, just generic info. Could you tell me how things not mentioned in the plan are handled? For instance, say we chose VM/CID, what is the basic text set-up? Obviously not unlimited, but are there a certain number per month, or are you stuck paying for every single text? OR perhaps if you can just tell me where I could find it on the new website, as I couldn't locate this type of information. Thanks much.

i didnt know porting affected things. i tried twice before i finally a few days ago ported. I wish i had realized that made a diff.
But i am now more concerned that i cannot connect the phone to usb and its acting a bit squirrely during emailing typing.
hmm........i will try and figure out what to do.
thx anyhow. i might call them tomorrow and explain the issues to see if they extend or simply want me to return it._______________
